Claudia helps parents and caregivers understand what emotions are, their role in setting expectations to children, and helping them develop tools and strategies to support their children.
Emotions are described as complex psychological states that involve a combination of subjective experiences, physiological responses, and behavioral expressions. They are influenced through genetics, child personality, learned behaviors and environmental situations.
Parent and caregiver relationships with children are trainers, role models and to be their safe space. Their goal is to help children develop competence, confidence and mastery in handling their emotions, and to use them positively.
This seminar shares essential skills to help reach the goal of:

Self-control

Mindfulness and the power of being present

Grounding

Listening (a vital skill)

Healthy communication through mirroring and reflecting, labeling , validating, redirecting and ownership ("I" statements)
